Stick Heads

Over ten years ago I had the urge to make these small terracotta heads for use in my own garden - to decorate the tops of fencing, bamboo canes and trellises. Popular with friends and family, I even sent some to Monty Don who was most appreciative!

There are favourite subjects here, cat, dog and bird, all lend themselves to adaptation though each little head is unique. Occasionally a frog or pig may make an appearance. Made from red clay and high fired, these terracotta finials can stay outdoors all year being completely frost and snow proof. They will weather well.

Sizes are varied but none so big they won't sit comfortably into the spaces of an egg carton.
